Teacher Sarcasm

    I was in a lecture one day and the professor was discussing the glories of integer division in Z mod(p) and we just weren’t getting it.  To make matters worse, I’d sarcastically say things like “yeah, totally,” or “clearly it couldn’t be any other way,” usually to laughter, and he’d turn and smile and look around the class and say “good.”  He’d then proceed to lose us further.  There were days where this happed 4-5 times in a class.  Fun times…
